Okay, so I wasn't liking my idea for the project, and I started working on this.
I still was really unhappy with it. I was starting to get the whole depth thing, but the composition wasn't interesting. I then came up with the next idea, and I want to continue working on it.
It's always good to follow your gut. I'm glad you scrapped what wasn't working and kept what was. The newest direction is by far the most interesting that I've seen so far. It's good to see the steps you took to arrive here. How are you feeling about the way space is developing through the geometric shapes?
